The following chart, or “histogram,” was just posted on the HBS admissions director blog. It shows the number of years since graduating undergrad for the classes of 2013-2015.

HBS Histogram
A few key points:

1. Experience levels have been fairly stable.
2. One change: The number (73) of members of the class of 2015 with only two years of experience is up approximately 25% from the number in the class of 2013 (58), which was roughly half of the 113 accepted to the class of 2013 with only two years of work experience.
3. The majority of 2013-2015 students have 3-5 years of full-time work experience at the time of matriculation.

Kudos to HBS for posting this data.
