Dear all,

I am a software engineer admitted by a Top 15 American b-school. As an “international” student and an engineer, I was told it would be super tough to get a job in US. People keep saying that, among the factors of location, industry and job functions, the job function is most difficult to change. However, just like any other engineer, my primary expectation of MBA is to change the function. My post-MBA goal is consulting, or product marketing manager in high-tech.

How is the MBA recruiting in US you know for ex-IT engineers without work permits? And what are the most possible post-MBA functions for ex-engineers? Please share your experience, comments or suggestions. Thank you.
