Need to admit that I am long-time lurker. Just played with the instant stats in GC, sorted by Views per Reply. The top 3 ranking somehow mirror the actual ranking.

You should probably revisit the stats at the end of the season. Looking at it right now doesn't tell you much. While Columbia has already completed its ED round, MIT hasn't reached its R1 deadline yet. Activity usually picks up heavily around deadlines for submissions and notifications.
