1) E) 6 years

(81-82-83-84-85-87)

2) A) 31.5 thousand

The increase between 86 and 87 is roughly 41.5k, the increase between 83 and 84 is 10k. So the difference is 31.5

3) B)

There is no decrease in the graph between years 82-83 and 83-84.

4) D) 48 thousand

the sum of years 84 through 88 (which yields 280k) divided by 5

5) a) 42%

the increase is from 40k to roughly 56k which is 40%, best choice is 42%
