i think it should be a in 1st and e 2nd ones (due to is informal). d in the 3rd (whoever is a subject).

the little underlined u is the 3rd symbol at the top list

2. - A, since Due to is in choice a, i wouldn't touch and replace it with because of
3 - D, 'whoever' since it's an object

1. A - Try the question test 'Who did he bring into the venture - Them', so it is A.
2. E - Due to means "caused by". It should only be used if it can be substituted with "caused by"
3. D - Need the possesive form
