A - 10
B - 20
C - 40
D - 80
E - 100


What is the fastest way to solve this? Thanks!

this question tests your concepts of (a-b)(a+b)=a^2-b^2

in our case

(1001-999)(1001+999)=1001^2-999^2

also can be written as

2(2000)

(101-99)(101+99)=2(200)

2000/200=10

10 it is
