correct buddy it is between "A" and "B" but, i think verb lessens or shortens has a subject the advance-purchase requirement and not days.

More over, the subject of the clause "the advanced-purchased requirement" AKA "reqirement" can be shorten and not lessened
I go for "A"

I will go for (A).

"a minimum of seven days rather than" sounds idiomatically correct as compared to "a seven-day minimum from"

E is the best answer.

In A and B, "and also" is wrong usage in the sentence. You do not say:
"...the new fare...and also shortens.."

Kpadma,

I guess it refers to "days" which is why it is the wrong answer.

kpadma

I have issues with E, we say "books in liberary near my house are better than those in Bill's
liberary in city..". so here C should be the answer coz it does the right comparison.
..than that of....

Infect i am of different opinion, ndidi204:
C D and E is wrong bcoz it do not use "and" before "also". See the rationale is that Original sentence uses "which" to modify "new air fare". as u know "which" is non-restrictive realtive pronoun and to add further modification to "new air fare" there should be "and also" in place of only "also".

Any other view ?
:btw whats the OA MBAMANTRA ?

I read somewhere that use of "and also " is redundant.

why

"travel to a minimum of seven days
rather than that of " is wrong and

"family travel to a minimum of seven days
rather than" is correct.

i think that use of rather in former is wrong.

Paul or Anandnk may help.
OA is E.
