2.0GPA Improve or not? [#permalink] New post 14 Feb 2013, 09:38
I did poorly in university and graduated with a 2.1 cumulative GPA. Realizing a better education is needed to achieve my goals after spending three years teaching ESL abroad, now I would like to get back to school. If I were to apply for a top-tier school in Canada, should I retake some of my undergraduate courses? Suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks. :)

Retaking some of the courses, especially ones that are relevant to your MBA can help you some, so yes, with a 2.1 you should definitely consider doing that.

Hi,

Yes, you should definitely build an alternative transcript and take courses from local college, or online course such as UCLA extension's onck!line courses, and try to do well in them.

Good luck!
