2 weeks til test date! Help me make a plan [#permalink] New post 19 Nov 2009, 07:52
This is my first GMAT Club post but I have been reading for a while and have found the site very helpful in my studying.

A little background:

I just completed a Kaplan course on Nov. 9 and I am scheduled to take the test on Dec. 5. I got super busy during the course so I was pretty bad about staying up to date with the work, but I have completed all of the problems in the course book, minus the advanced math section.

My scores so far;
Diagnostic: 480 (Q-14% V-76%)
CAT 1: 580 (Q-42% V-66%)
CAT 2: 630 (Q-40% V-99%) Fluke I think
Ultimate practice test: 570 (Q-46% V-64%)

Study tools available:
O.G. 12 -- havent really started using this yet because I'm not sure where to start
O.G. Quant and Verbal workbooks
M.GMAT CR, SC, Number properties and Equations books
Kap lan Premiere
Kap lan quant workbook

(I have a lot of study materials that I have yet to use very effectively!)

CATs:
6 Kaplan CATs left
GMAT Prep CATs
MGMAT CATs
Tests from this site
Are there any on the Kap lan Premiere CD?

So, is a 630-650+ possible in 2 weeks? I have 3-5 hrs per evening, and 16-20 hrs per weekend to study. Or should I just postpone? I'm not applying until Fall 2010 so I have some time to spare. Thanks in advance guys!

p.s. Sorry about the weird spacing, etc in the names of the books...I couldn't figure out how to disable links and it wouldn't let me post links since I haven't posted before!

I would suggest you take a GMAT prep and see what you get. Kaplan is not always a reliable predictor of real GMAT score.

Yea, I definitely need to take one. Only problem, I have a Mac. I think I'll have to to go to the library this weekend to take it, but I'm not sure if those computers will let me download it.
