(2^x)-((2^(x-2))=3*(2^13), what is the value of x?

A) 9
B) 11
C) 13
D) 15
E) 17

2^x(1 - 2^-2) = 2^x ( 3/4)

2^x ( 3/4) = 3 * 2^13

2^x = 4*2^13 = 2^15

x = 15

(2^x)-((2^(x-2))

(2^x) (1-1/4)

(2^x) * 3/4
(2^x-2)*3 = 3*(2^13)
x-2 = 13
x = 15
