For those of us who were posting here in 2007, what have you been doing?
How has this economy effected your career goals pre MBA in 2007 and now?

+1
in my case, it sucks. companies stopped coming since November. of those that came for interviews, 60% not hiring.

how other '09 grads are doing?

Got the summer I wanted, got a job from the summer. Things look a little tetchy (nothing from the firm, but given layoffs and the role it could become so) but I have recently had a number of contingency plans arrive that I didn't plan on (good ones too).

Definitely still see people getting things on campus and there doesn't seem to be any serious fear - there is a (reasonable) feeling that a number of firms are on hold till the spring.

On campus recruiting is done (as per usual), but there is a fair amount of off campus listings and stuff about.
