SV6,

Sorry for the late reply. You don't seem to have a lot of leadership, and your extracurriculars look a little slight in comparison to competitive applicants at top schools. The following schools are highly ranked in entrepreneurship and you should have a fair to decent chance at all of them: USC, Babson, Arizona (Eller), Texas, Indiana.

I salute you for not wanting to write the reco letter for your previous manager. Your letter from your current employer should be fine.

Good luck,

Thanks for your time Paul!

Its sad that not even in Top 15 to Top 20 are reachable for me! I am really interested in Duke,Darden and cornell.
Can you please suggest me how i can improve my profile to reflect the leadership qualities as there are still 3-4 months time for application submission. Does bschool consider other EC's from India or only EC's that i have in US (Since i am working in US)? In the professional life, as my current company works more on flat structure and works in teams, even though people don't report me, i was given responsibility to mentor my junior members. Can i use this in my application or only my title matters to the Bschool?

SV6,

Not so sad: I mentioned some good programs. Rankings are not the only way to judge schools' quality. As for improving your leadership profile, volunteer for leadership roles at work or try to find some community or extracurricular involvement that interests you where you can take a leadership role. I agree that there is still time. Yes, you can and should mention the mentoring. ECs matter no matter where they occur.

Good luck,
