I retook the GMAT exam on 20th March, 2014. Inspite of having performed decently in Prac tests, the actual test result was disappointing.
Score - 600 (Q47, V26)
My first attempt was on 18th October, 2013 and my score was 620 (Q41, V35).
At the time, I thought that my verbal was pretty decent and that I needed to improve my Quant.
Improved Quant a bit in the 2nd attempt but I cannot still believe my Verbal score. Now I don't know if I got really lucky the first time to get a score of 35 in Verbal.
In Quant, I usually end up making silly mistakes (I'm not proud of it) but I can still try to improve in that area.
Bunuel's posts are awesome and I end up learning a lot from them.
During the previous test, I thought I was doing decently well. I got some RC questions that were not typical Main point, Inference ones seen in the
OG. Even some of the SC ones were quite confusing.
In
MGMAT practice tests, my Verbal scores were usually ranged from 33 to 37.
GMATPrep 1 - 690 (Q49, V35) - 12th March, 2014
GMATPrep 2 - 720 (Q49, V40) - 17th March, 2014
With these scores I went in very confidently for the exam. I'm not quite sure what to make of the result.
My Verbal scores were not very consistent, but I certainly did not expect a drop of 9-10 points.
I'm not quite sure what to do as of now. I'm thinking of giving it another shot and I need to make it count.
Any thoughts & suggestions will highly be appreciated.
Hope to hear from you guys soon.
