3. Picking 2 of the same color.

simpler way to do this??

I would approach #3 like this.

(4C2*11C1 + 5C2*10C1 + 6C2*9C1)/15C3

Is this right?

(1) agree
(2) agree
(3) if exactly two of the same color plus one of other color, then
(4C2*11 + 5C2*10 + 6C2*9) / 15C3

2 of red+1 of NOT red (11C1=11) and so on
