50 point improvement guarantee... [#permalink] New post 28 Aug 2013, 04:15
So there are many test prep firms that offer a 50 point guarantee. I was wondering if their study method doesn't work is the money back guarantee hassle free or usually there is some clause present, where it isn't easy to get your money back?

Does anyone have any experience, where your money was returned back by these firms. If you do, kindly share your experience....

Any comments / feedback will be appreciated.

You need to look and read the terms and conditions VERY carefully.
Many have certain conditions and terms that are specific to them.

For example, some offer money back only if you have used less than a certain percentage of their course (EGMAT), others offer it only if you send the score report for the previous attempt while signing up (Magoosh), yet others, ask that you go through every question and every exercise (Knewton).

So, the experience is different and you need to review the terms and conditions carefully before you sign up. That's my suggestion.
