So far did it the first time yesterday and got 530 (q36 v26). Missed a clock for several times and this resulted in random-clicking on 5-6 questions in the end (clarification - this is about math part!). Got the mood down as a result and while had plenty of time got the awful result of 26. However, as Edison said, our greatest weakness lies in giving up and the most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. I will do again in October, considering to review completely strategy and barron& mgmat books. MGMAT btw a day before the exam was over 600 (don't remember how much) but the real questions were much harder. Good luck to you buddies in this exercise.

Verter, I suggest you go through the Math concepts reviewed in OG and MGMAT math series. If you diligently cover those books you will able to get 44+ in real test. And always try to manage time in the practice test so that it becomes second nature to you. Have you given GMATprep CAT tests before the exam? If you have given those tests before and scored higher than 530 then I suggest you appear for one more time. With hard work and perseverance you can do it. And for verbal if you have more time to prepare I suggest you go through MGMAT SC book for SC and powerscore CR bible for CR portion. You will be good to go. Good luck

I would recommend Princeton Review over Barron's...it has a really good review of the test and some strategies that help me a lot on timing. Be sure to do the GMATPrep tests and use the OG!!

I have PR 2004 - do you think it is ok? Also I have never heard of PowerScore... What would you say about Kaplan 800?

I think that MGMAT books are good for quant, and their SC book is the best. Powerscore Bible is the best choice for CR. You need practice, so try 1000 SC, CR and RC. Kaplan 800 is good, but you need to learn basic concepts before start with K 800. Good luck.

Also be sure to review all official GMAC materials.

The 2004 version of PR is too old...the test has gotten harder since then, and it's changed enough that I wouldn't use old materials. I'd get the newest version. I didn't use Kaplan or Powerscore so I don't know about those...

Kaplan is not bad, but I'm starting to think that MGMAT and OG are ok. Thanks, guys. Will see me here in October.

Just have got my AWA - 5.5 (no prep at all, just a lot of reports written in English at work). Not too bad, so I need to concentrate on the other things.
