Re: 580 GMAT Please Evaluate [#permalink]
Please help me with some advice based on my information here.
Took the gmat 3 days ago and scored 530
GPA 3.2
Nationality: Cameroonian
Work experience: 3 years in a very challenging environment in Cameroon. Really didnt expect my score to be this low and this doesnt reflect me. besides, my boss didn't give me any break to prepare and wouldnt.
Which are some of the schools that could possibly admit me with this information.
Thanks,
JohnSmith

Hello johnsmith84, thanks for your question.

As I wrote in the thread, a low score is not necessarily an insurmountable challenge, but with a 530 score, you do face an upward-facing battle. Please review the advice I provide above. Check the median/mean GMAT scores of your target schools, as well as the middle 80% range of GMAT scores. If your 530 falls within that middle 80%, I think you have a shot. Otherwise, it will not be an easy slog.

More importantly, if you believe your score does not reflect your ability, I recommend taking the GMAT again!

Hope this helps.

Best of luck,
Brian
