Hi,
My name is Patrick and this is my first post

I could really use the community's help on this. Given that I have a full time job as a management consultant, i barely have time to put in any studying time. On most days I have an hour in the morning before work, and 3 hours at night.

My scheduled my exam on the 2nd of April given that my admission for r1 is 3th of April.

The books i currently have:
Manhattan GMAT review (all 9 books)
OG 13
Kaplan

I had quite the motivation before i actually took the Gmat Prep and scored 590 - i could really use a strat to max my score.

Regards,
P

If you're going to be short on time studying for the GMAT, you're going to want to find ways to fit studying in. Bringing a book with you to work is going to be difficult. You want to have some GMAT questions to look through on the computer screen - so consider some PDFs or online practice questions. You can try out some of the ones on the gmatpill practice pill platform.
Here's a sample SC question.

Reviewing books will be helpful. But working off a computer - the way the actual exam will be - is going to be helpful. You should save the second GMATPrep exam for the last week before your exam. Between now and then, use other resources and focus on first improving on your weak areas. Then focus on speed and efficiency. I have heard many stories of students doing well on practice exams, but then on the day of the exam they freak out and lose control of timing and don't finish the exam. During practice, focus on speed and efficiency - put yourself in that state of mind with a timer. This will simulate exam conditions in small increments so by the time you take your second GMATPrep exam, you should be prepared.

Thank you both for your help - I decided to postpone my application for R2 and study for my GMAT more thoroughly.
Let's see how it goes
