Friend managed to lose over a grand one day, win it back the next. The tournament includes alumni as well, so beware - it isn't quite as level a playing field as you might like, with some Professor's in probability rocking up to play. Caesar's isn't bad I guess, but I really haven't got the tolerance for hanging around in smokefilled rooms as a game takes shape really, really slowly.

100 or 200, I forget. Limited buyins. It had over 150 people in it I am sure. Very different from poker online though, which has much more in favor of the impatient or antisocial, groups of which I am a member of.

One of my buddies won the poker tournament held during Kellogg's Ski Trip and the prize was a free trip to Vegas for this. Haven't seen him around campus today so don't know how he did.
