600 GMAT 2.8 GPA [#permalink] New post 22 Feb 2011, 09:40
Hi,

I am 21 years old with a 2.8 from John Brown University. I am taking the GMAT on March 6th and expect to get around a 600 (based on practice tests).

I have 7 years of marketing experience. 2 years of management experience.

I am trying to get accepted to Arkansas' Walton School of Business for their full time MBA.

Will this be possible?

Walton says a 600 GMAT is fine but likes the GPA to be at least 3.0. I suggest you take some classes to create an alternate transcript that can at the very least be averaged into your college transcript to make it a 3.0.
