610 in the gmat - does it worth to apply? [#permalink]

Just got a 610 in the gmat after a lot of practicing. I think I came to my limit because i tried a few times and nevers passed the 620.
I'm not sure if it will be worth even trying to apply for one of the top 10-15 progrems due the the gmat score. Does anyone think otherwise?
Depending on your career interests a school in another cluster (e.g. Near Elite or NEF) might be more than sufficient. Further, there is a lot more to your application than GMAT- it is certainly an important component but it is not the only one.
I have seen many testtakers reach scores where their performance levels off but increases again after additional training. Thus, I would not read too much into you score reaching one of these flat spots.
