There are two good news:

1. You are very close to there. 50 is a 700-range Q score. You just need to improve on the verbal side.

2. While 27V is low, it means it is more easy to improve! From the verbal score, you need to strengthen every type of verbal questions - SC, CR and RC. With this score, I imagine you may feel "fuzzy" (i.e., not certain) for the answers of most verbal questions.

Get the verbal OG if you have not done so, and download the SC1000 and CR1000 from this site and focus on the hit rate.

You just need to maintain your Q performance and just focus on V side.

1. Analyze your weaknesses and then work on those areas. That is the single most important thing that can get you a good verbal score.

2. As suggested by nbooky, use the SC1000/CR1000 documents extensively. Remember to ALWAYS time the practice sets that you take. For RCs, regularly read a quality publication like 'The Economist'.

It is again good news that you are aware of another weakness.
Mind game is important - you have to understand where your anxiety comes from, and address those effectively. Some anxieties cannot be eliminated, so the approach is to reduce them.

So why are you feeling nervous during the exam?

Many people here took tons of practice CAT tests before the real exam (just search under GMAT experience). So you should do the same and that usually help. You will also found some test strategy improvements by doing such exams.

Try to simulate what will happen on a test date: Pick a date and imagine that is your test date, do the exact things you would do on the actual test date. This is a easy strategy to help reduce stress on the actual test date.

Enjoy.
