I took my third MGMAT CAT today and scored a 640. 43Q, 34V.

My first test was a 460... lets not look at those results any more

Second test was a 640: 47Q, 31V

and this test was a 640. 43Q, 34V

I'm not disappointed with the results b/c I did the AWA's this time. Also my last CAT, I got extremely lucky with the Q section. I blindly guessed 4-5 700-800 level questions correctly. I knew I wouldn't have this kind of luck again so Im not upset at all about my Q drop. My verbal went up from 31 to 34.

I felt my pacing was much better during this test than the last test. Reviewing some of the problems I see that some of I elminated many answer choices down to 2 and guessed from there. Much better than the blind lucky streak I had on my last test.

Essentially I feel this test is a much better indicator of where I really stand. I now plan to take the test in about a month or so. Am I getting close to being ready???

Also, during this test I got a FREAKIN ridiculous RC passage. twice as long as any RC I have EVER seen and only 3 q's to follow it... what gives lol (anyone ever get an RC about Tay Sachs disease and Lysosomes...)?

I am in the same boat. About 30 days to go!!! I still havent booked the dates yet. But I'll write before october for sure. I think a month is a reasonable amount of time where we can expect our scores to see a 30-50 point improvement quite easily. At least that is what I would like to believe.

My practice scores are hovering around the same area. It will be interesting to track each other's performance in the next 30 days.
