Hey guys,
Just got back from test centre. After a low 650 on August, I hoped to get a 700+. I don't know what happened but I scored a 690. I'm not disappointed with my quant score but verbal is not that good.
I don't think that I'm going to retake the GMAT. I don't have any more materials to study. I've finished all
MGMAT exams, all KAPLAN Cats, got over PS CR Bible twice,
MGMAT SC Bible 3 times and at least 10 times GMATPrep.
I know this is not a bad score, but I knew that I could get much better. In the 8 Kaplan Cats my lowest score was 710 and the 3 highest were 750, 760, 770. In the
MGMAT I started with 640 (The very first exam I took even before the first GMAT I took) and finished with a 780.
Anyways, Let me remind you something. In the final part of my preparation, SC was the part of the Verbal exam that I feel most confident with. But I'm sure that the worst part I did on the real exam was SC. It was too hard. On 4-6 questions I couldnt even bring the answer choices to 2 options.
I don't know how competitive my profile is going to be with such a score and with an undergrad GPA of 3.9. I just graduated from a university in Turkey with an engineering major. I was the top student in my department and number three in the entire faculty. I started working as a marketing assistant in a company since I graduated.
If I start an MBA program on September 2009, I will have a total work experience of 15 months. At which of the top 20 schools do you think I might have a chance ?
UVA Darden ?
Northwestern ?
Darthmouth ?
