GMAT Score 660 (Q41,V38). AWA 3.5
Years of experinece - 8 in IT
From India, currently working in the US
Proven leadership track and a execellent reccomendation from my client.

What are my chances at CMU / Duke and UC Berkley. I want to focus on schools ranked 10 - 20 and picked these schools from the Business week rankings.

Does me being an IT prof set expectations for a higher score?

Thanks for any replies.

Linda

I also want to add that I have a master's in computer science with a 74% overall score.

I picked up CMU because of its strong focus on technology, I read the DUKE brochure, I was really impressed by its course structure. Given my GMAT score, I dont know if these schools are long shots even if I build up strong case for my application? Please advice

I think your GMAT score is an issue at the schools you mention, especially Haas and Duke.

Good luck!

Hi,

I think that it is still worth exploring these schools, but I would add other schools to the portfolio as well. One way to mitigate the impact of demographic profiling is select schools strategically.
