660 GMAT Retake? 3.4 gpa, F, 5 yr exp [#permalink] New post 01 Jul 2014, 13:14
Hi There,

I am trying to decide whether to take the GMAT again and apply to all of my schools in R2, or stick with my 660 score and pour my efforts into R1 applications. This is the second time I've taken the GMAT (aside from a 640 2 years ago) and I feel like I've exhausted resources. See my signature for a history of scores.

I am a female senior consultant at a top consulting firm the US. I have a passionate industry focus in health care, specifically in provider/plan collaboration and value based care. 3.4 GPA from a UC and BS in business economics. I also have great extra-curriculars including starting young professionals network for a local non-profit.

My top schools are Wharton, Haas, Kellogg, and Duke, maybe Columbia.

Thank you for the evaluation!

Hi lmariesf,

Thanks for your post. In regards to the GMAT, for the programs you are applying to we would recommend you take the GMAT again. One thing that is important to remember is that in your business school application, your highest GMAT score is self-reported. For this reason, admissions teams focus on your best score, and there isn't any harm in taking the test again.
