Got royally screwed in Verbal. CRs were tough. 2 boldface CRs at that.
RCs were manageable but because of lack of time towards the end of the exam had to rush thru one complete passage & 5-6 other questions. That I guess did me in.
Word of advice from today's experience -- Be sure of timings in the practice tests. I was always over confident as I finished even Kaplan practice tests atleast 10-12 min early in verbal section. but today in the real thing I was slow & in trying to be sure early on threw my progress off track. I am sure another 10 minutes & I would have scored much better.
Quants .. got a probability Qn first up. Got some real good questions in between. Quants level is definitely much above
OG. But it was all manageable.
Verbal .. 5 straight SCs to start with followed by 4 CRs. The 2 4-Qn RCs. By the time I finished them, my timing had gone for a toss. Was an uphill battle after that. 2 supertough (atleast to me
) boldface CRs towards the end. SCs were not idiomatic but mainly tested grammar.
Anyways.. am dejected by the score. Dunno whether I need another attempt to push this up.
All out here at GMATclub .. a BIG thanx.. havent been a regular here but this forum has helped me tremendously during the shaky course of my prep'n.
Thanks to bb, Praetorian,Paul & others. you guys are doing a tremendous job of demystifying this exam here.
Keep it up.
