710 (Q50 V35) - Profile Evaluation. [#permalink] New post 01 Jun 2012, 08:11
Hi,
I appeared for GMAT on 17th May and got 710 (Q50 V35). AWA 5.0/6.0

I am from India and have 6 years of IT experience including an almost 2 years of International exposure.

I am targeting schools like ISB(India). I dont want to retake GMAT as this was my third attempt.

Wanted to ask if this score and the profile so far looks good or not?

Please suggest.

Hi Garg,

In general, once an applicant has over a 700 on the GMAT, a top MBA admissions team will focus more on a candidate's work experience, recommendations, etc. Your score is strong enough to get you into a top program. However, it's important to remember that admissions teams will look beyond your numbers, and you will need to also focus on other areas as well.
