These are very useful tips. Thanks!

I'm a newbie and would like to test the gap. would you recommend me to revise a lot before doing any CATs, or take a CAT first and figure out my weak spot before revising? If the latter, what would be a good trial CAT? I don't want to waste any really good CAT.

Hi,
I have started my GMAT preperation recently. answered a free GMAT prep test and scored 680 ( QA 50 & VA 31).
I got 14 incorrect questions in verbal. Can you tell how many incorrect questions you used to get in mocks. I know incorrect questions are not a true indicator of score but it does help to some extent. :?

It's rather easy to practice sets of SC's, but CR's & especially RC's are pain in the a22. They just take too much time and literally drain you.

Took GMATPrep 2 yesterday.. Breakdown missed was:
6 SC
6 RC
1 CR

I'm going to look through the MGMAT SC Guide again tomorrow to refresh and use your tips for RC and hopefully catch a break!

Was GMAT Verbal Review book useful or not really? Some member suggested to use it before OG12. The problem I have, is that I already went through OG12, so could GMAT Verbal Review still help at my stage knowing I have 25 days before the test?

For sentence correction and reading comprehension verbal review is good, but I don't like it for Critical reasoning, very easy.
