Hello fellow Canadian,
I smell Waterloo. I did my undergrad in EE from Toronto.
3.8 GPA in CS at Waterloo... Mad respect for you. With your Master's and Ph.D, GMAT and "hot" w/e (love the title, "principal.."), I'd say you have a good chance at all top American programs.
Given your preference (finance programs), I'd say CBS, NYU, Booth and Wharton are classic choices.
Bbbbbbutttttttt,
I'd want, if I were in your position, some nice halo effect, not just building a skill set.
Although I understand you are gungho about finance, I would want you to think just a little bigger and shoot for the name, network, and GM programs known for PE/VC/HF (as long as you are in top 10, given your outstanding track record, you will be every employer's target, whoever you want).
Before I list schools I personally recommend, I think you should also look into programs known for healthcare, which I know nothing about.
1. Harvard - great for everything (name, network, biomedical companies around Boston etc)
2. Stanford - great for everything and especially VC
3. Yale - name, network, more connected to its home university than any other bschools, allowing you to take courses at its medical school in your case and taking part in Office of Cooperative Research for hands-on experience in VC
4. Dartmouth - great for everything, especially known for its network of alumni going extra mile and great for PE
5. Wharton - the very best finance school, known for HF
6. NYU - location, tight knit community, known for HF

With Yale and NYU having already been mentioned, I would also like to add two other top 10-15 schools.
1. Cornell - Johnson fits the bill as a Northeast school with a strong finance program. In addition, it has the largest network among all Ivy League schools.
2. Duke - I don't know much about it, but Fuqua's Health Sector Management program is one of the best in the world. I know that Duke is not exactly located in a sexy city like New York, Chicago or Boston, but it's still on the East Coast.
