Just came from the test center, completely pleased with the result:

750 (Q50, V40) 98 percentile

One more proof that hard work pays. Taking in account my relatively poor English and forgotten math skills, I am sure that everybody can if he just work hard enough.

Anyway, here is my short overview of the test:

Math was as I expected it to be, not too tough, although much harder then the OG. Got about 4-5 questions on probability and combinatorics, some were really hard though. Some extremely easy questions on geometry, and many ( I mean it ) questions on number theory.

Verbal was a sad surpise to me. Majority of the SC questions were extremely hard, in most I did not even know what they were testing. And I was relatively good in SC. At least I thought so. Did not get even one boldfase, but CR was quite hard. RC was relatively easy, except one where I was unable to undertand what it is talking about so I just separated it into smaller statements in the form: if A then B , if B and C then D and so forth. I guess it helped.

Anyhow I finished the verbal , guessed last two questions as I had only about 20 -30 sec. to spare, clicked Next , and prayed god to get more then 650. You can imagine my condition when I saw the score...

Well, that's all folks. I just want to repeat it once again, hard work will surely pay. So just do it! (C)

You deserved a little more in verbal considering the way you tore the CR's apart .

I am not sure I can give an advice on Verbal since my score is relatively
low. I never used MGMAT SC book. The only resource that I used is 1000SC and SC forum at http://www.testmagic.com. The explanation that you can find there are invaluable. Pay special attention to those given by Eren and 800Bob . I didn't do any special training on RC or CR. I tried to increase my reading rate with EyeQ software , but after two weeks of training didn't notice any difference. My reading speed is about 300 -400 wpm depending on the difficulty of the text.

If anybody has any additional questions on my strategies or tips , I am not going anywhere , so just ask

is this words per second? with at least 95% comprehension if so, I really wonder who said that your English skills are bad...
