• Books & materials used: Knewton Study Course, 111 x 700-Level Question Bank in GMAT Club iPhone App
• Test Scores:
(Knewton)
-Diagnostic GMAT 04/07/2012 at 02:49PM 47 42 720
-Practice GMAT #1 04/30/2012 at 08:08PM 49 40 730
-Practice GMAT #2 05/13/2012 at 05:40PM 47 42 720
-Practice GMAT #3 05/19/2012 at 02:19PM 45 38 680
-Practice GMAT #4 05/25/2012 at 06:42PM 51 34 710
-Practice GMAT #5 05/26/2012 at 11:36PM 45 39 680
(GMAT Prep)
- GMATPrep 1 (6/2): 750 (47Q 45V). To be honest there were repeated questions from the GMATPrep exams that I took in March, so I believe I had an inflated score
- Test Day (6/12): 760 (50Q 44V)
• Background: Native English speaker, bachelor degree (3.5) at top-25 school, currently work as a research analyst at a mutual fund
• Length of Study: From 4/7 to 6/11. Finished all materials from course syllabus on 5/27, 2 days were reserved for the GMATPrep exams, so I had about 2 weeks of independent study.
• General Strategy: Don't choke.
• Any interesting blogs or materials that I found online: None

• Things I wish I knew: N/A
• Things I have learned: N/A
• Things I wasted my time on: Nothing
• Finally, my test experience: Below

I recommend Knewton for Verbal and ManhattanGMAT for Quant. Knewton helped me immensely for verbal because the course drilled in me some sentence correction rules that I may have learned in my MGMAT course, but didn't focus on. The quant questions for Knewton are around 600-650 level, so they are of no help.

My test experience was ok. I was never nervous throughout this whole ordeal, I just choked during my first exam and knew I would perform better this time around. The mindset was total domination. I played "Sirius" by the Alan Parsons Project, and "Eye of the Tiger" on my way to the test center. There were also some questions towards the end of the Quant section where I just thought to myself "A chump would have answered C, but the answer is A. GMAT you think you can fool me? HA I OWN YOU!" Similar to my previous exam, I finished the quant section about 7 minutes early. I also finished IR about 4 minutes early. Honestly, I probably could have scored 770 or even higher, but I drank a whole Gatorade during the first break (glycogen for the brain) and really really really had to go to the bathroom for the last 35 minutes of my Verbal section - so my mind wasn't 100% focused on the questions on the computer screen.

Nevertheless, 760 is "good enough" for me, and I'm finally done with this exam!

Congratulations! That is a serious achievement. I certainly find your cockiness amusing. I'm curious about your regression in GMAT Prep scores:

-Diagnostic GMAT 04/07/2012 at 02:49PM 47 42 720
-Practice GMAT #1 04/30/2012 at 08:08PM 49 40 730
-Practice GMAT #2 05/13/2012 at 05:40PM 47 42 720
-Practice GMAT #3 05/19/2012 at 02:19PM 45 38 680
-Practice GMAT #4 05/25/2012 at 06:42PM 51 34 710
-Practice GMAT #5 05/26/2012 at 11:36PM 45 39 680

Any thoughts on the cause?

Knewton's CAT formula is harsh.

For example my V34 in Exam 4 was due to 7 incorrect questions.

In Exam 2 I answered 6 questions incorrectly and got a V42.

What exactly in Knewton's course helped you - Lectures, Lesson Exercises, Test Questions.
