Hi guys,
I'm new on the forum and just started my GMAT prep today. I got a 770 diagnostic on the first GMATPrep sample test (50 Quantitative, 46 Verbal). Obviously the written questions weren't scored. I found that I worked right until the end for the Quantitative, but had almost 30 minutes leftover for the Verbal. I'm planning on taking the exam in the first week of August.
Some questions:
- What books/resources can I use to practice harder questions?
- Any recommended strategies to manage my Verbal time better?
- Should I just take the exam now? How much variance is there in scores between practice and testday?
I've already bought the
MGMAT books and the 3 OGs to arrive next week.
Thanks!
Well, 770 on GMAT Prep without any prep is unimaginable.. If I were you I would take another test to just validate this score and If i score another 770/780, then I would just sit at home for a week (leave from office) .. take a test daily ( MGMAT + GMAT Prep) nd revise the answer solutions throughly .. further on my 3rd/4th/5th day leave I would book a date of 2 days later (7th/8th day from today) ..
You really dont need to delay it till August.. Even if you dont want to take it now.. then 1 month is enuf...
P.S -> I also took the GMAT Prep today and scored a 700 ...nd I am targetting 1st week of July ... Target score is >=760 ...
Cheers!
