800score.com tests how good are they? [#permalink] New post 25 Sep 2006, 16:31
I have run out of tests, I saw 800score.com offering 5 tests for 20 bucks, not a bad price, but how good are they ( in terms of closeness with real GMAT), too easy, too hard or totally off tangent?

Thanks in advnace for any feedback

Don't waste ur time. Even the scoring in those tests is different from actual GMAT.

I found the math section pretty much the same with Powerprep but the scoring of the verbal section is definitely different from the actual GMAT.

They are good practice..but dun rely on the score. They 200-800 calculator's really bad.

The questions were poorly written and the scoring seemed inaccurate.

For all the test prep material I used, I would recommend these the least, if at all.

These tests are very poorly written and prepared. Many questions have gross grammar and spelling errors. Some are even missing critical information. It's as is these questions were not even double-checked for accuracy and completeness by 800Score.

Nevertheless, I would recommend taking them. The reason being you will get frustrated by the poor quality of the test, spelling errors, etc., and will have to deal with that anxiety during the test. It's a great way to build up some mental strength and control over your nerves in preparation for the real thing.

Aside from that benefit, they are terrible.
