Re: 800score.com tests worth buying? [#permalink]
I got their tests as part of the Veritas package - helpful for the quant but the verbal was waay too easy! I don't think I would buy them - I'd get the MGMAT material instead!!

Buy the MGMAT SC Book and you'll get the MGMAT test first. If you need more help I'd get the PR Tests. If after 6 MGMAT and 5 PR Test and the free Kaplan test you can get + 2 GMATPreps (+ I'd do 2 repeats) and after all 16 test if you need a little bit more work just in the quant side I'd say it's ok to buy the 800score test.

I've only done the free Quant section from 800score and I do not think it is harder than the real GMAT, nor it is a good representative. The real GMAT focuses on number properties and exponents mostly.
The only harder Quant out there that I know of is MGMAT and the challenges. Everything else, including GMATPrep needs to be updated to catch up with the real thing.

I find 800score test really hard I got between 49-51 on MGMAT quant but never over a 41 on 800. On the real thing I pulled a 49 so I'd say that MGMAT quant takes more time than most real gmat questions but the scoring is easier (you can miss more).
