Anybody have any thoughts on the 800Score CATs? The most recent posts I find on this topic is from 2010.
I recently purchased the 5 extra tests from 800Score and I took just the Quant section to practice my timing. Everything I've read says the questions they ask are very difficult and unrealistic but I found the tests really easy compared to the MGMAT CATs.
Also, the scoring algorithm seems off. I received a 40, but on the MGMAT CATs, I've been hitting 45 or more recently. I usually get maybe 60% on a good day with an MGAT CAT, but on this test, I missed around 11 for around a ~70%, but it only gave me a 40. Looking at my pattern, the score doesn't make sense either. There was no rush at the end and I didn't really miss more than 2 in a row. Anybody else have any other thoughts?
I'm an idiot and didn't read all the posts. It seems that this has been the same problem forever on this test.
Some guy even posted: "Dlemba, I got a q46 and my first wrong question was the 18th question !!! . total was 30/37 . Trying these tests close to your actual tests can be a moral breaker." Obviously their scoring is wack.
