Hi
Sindbad,
Thanks for your question. At 9 years out seeking an international MBA, you are a bit on the older side of the sweet spot for ideal recruiting for US MBA programs. That being said, you would certainly not be the oldest full time MBA ever by a long shot. You mention that you have not yet taken the GMAT and for your competitive pool, that really would give you a better idea of your options. However, your work experience reads like a who's who of best in class- B schools love to see Amazon and Goldman Sachs and certainly Fidelity too. I could see you being a very attractive candidate at European schools and also could see that an executive MBA program perhaps with a global component such as a program like UNC's

We also offer hourly consulting packages for you to have access to the top knowledge of our Stratus experts to point you to the programs that could be a best fit for you. HI All,
As of today I have 9+ year of experience and am contemplating if MBA is a good choice. I have read a lot of articles on this and although majority states that it's a bit late and harder to get in a good B-school but I am not been convinced by their explanations. I have started the prep for GMAT but not taken an appointment yet. I'll like to get views from the experts before I take a call.
Brief Background : I am an Indian IT guy with 9+ years of experience. I have a good resume to boasts of but one key thing missing is the "Leadership Title" such as manager,PM,etc.
Have been involved on and off with extra curricular activities such as CRY and AKSHAYA PATRA inn bangalore. Also i have had few international exposures.
Company Details:
Fidelity Investment : 3 years as Software Engineers
Goldman Sachs India: 4 years as Analyst Developer
Amazon India: Since lasst 2 years : Sr. Support Engineer.
Education: BE Computer Science: 3.23/4(CGPA)
I am mostly inclined for European schools as they time away from work is less. Also why I want to do MBA is because I think I have already hit the ceiling in the type of work i do. I want to take my learning and build upon that.
Thanks
Sindbad
