step one: 20/4=5
step two: 8*5=40
step three:90-40=50

step four:option A (retain the fraction)=50/(1/2)=>(50/1)/(1/2)=>100/1=>100

option B (transform fraction to decimal)=1/2=0.5 so we have...50/0,5=>500/5=>100
