I studied between 80 and 100 hours to achieve this. I spent approximately 2 hours on the essays, 20 hours on the verbal, and the rest on the quantitative.

Hi guys, I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for contributing to this forum. I started studying for the GMAT on May 1st, 2012 and took it on June 1st 2012 (last Friday). The only books I had were the Official Guide 11th edition (I borrowed a used book), the Manhattan GMAT Advanced Quant and the Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction. Those 3 books in conjunction with all the great material posted on this site, especially the 700+ practice problems, helped me get a 770 (49Q 47V) in exactly 1 months time. Thanks all, especially you bb for creating the site. Best of luck to the rest of you!
