GMAT: 770 Q: 49 V: 47 Hey, proud to be amongst such smart company. I'll post a detailed debrief but I want to very quickly give a shout out to Knewton - their instructors are out of this world good and though I was dubious about an online course initially, I am very glad I gave them a chance. Took me from a diagnostic 680 to 770. I have always been a good test taker, did very well on the SAT in high school, but I will say I was very rusty going in. I had taken 5 practice tests and had never broken 720, so that was my goal... I knew I had a shot at a higher score because the two 720's I received were Q-51 V-low on one and V-50 Q-low on the other. Going in, I was a little nervous, and definitely took my time on Q1; at that point, it was almost like I went into a trance (if anyone has seen the debate scene from Old School, you know what I'm referring to). Rolled through Q no problem, finished w/ 15 min to spare on V. I felt like I had hit my goal of 720, so when I approved and rolled to the score my jaw dropped. I let out a "Holy ____" and immediately got shushed . Tips going in: Knewton let me rework the sections I was really having trouble with (Q data sufficiency and V logical arguments) over and over, so I was really comfortable with them going into the test. My big tip for calming those nerves: perspective. Going in, I kept thinking about the biggest screw-up I had ever done, and thinking "Compared to that, if I blow this, it doesn't matter. This is not a make or break." Good luck to all who are trying to reach the 99%!

I was pumped to be in the top 1%! Anyone have any experience tutoring for Manhattan or something where they require a 99th percentile score? Your score will likely land you a phone interview with Manhattan GMAT. The phone interview begins an extremely selective weeding out process that commences with an in person audition at their headquarters. Good Luck!
