Hell yeah it's possible. Pick up a novel and start reading it every night. Read 4-5 NY times articles and/or American Scientific articles every single day. Go through the Aristotle SC guide at least twice then go through the MGMAT SC guide once or twice or more if needed. I would also watch every Thursdays with Ron workshop about CR. Do 2 -4 RC passages daily. Make sure you have a strategy for RC and apply it to every single passage. You're going to run out of passages in the OG so sign up for Grockit it's only $24.95/month.

very possible - up to a certain score threshold, merely plugging away and practicing verbal ?s will improve a V17. You'll gain lots of improvement just from becoming familiar with methods and being able to identify question types - especially splits in sentence correction. Work through the OG ?s and the VR questions and read the hell out of every wrong answer choice and you'll start to get the hang of what types of wrong answers they put in the test to throw you off. Even if you can't nail down the exact right answer, on almost any question you should be picking between three answers (ruling out at least two).

From there, it's learning the rules to improve to the higher levels.

I don't have my success story yet, but that's my experience - Good luck
