E. a could be 2, -2, -4, -12, or so on. b aso could be 7, -7, -14, -21 nor so on.......

a and b are integers, a is even, what is the value of a - b?
1)a<3
2)a/b = 2/7

1. Not sufficient as we do not know B

2. not sufficient as a can be 2, 4, 6, ... and b can be 7, 14, 21, ...

Combining both together:
a can be 2 for a/b to be 2/7
or can be -2 (and b -7)...
