I got D.

1. it tells that (x,y) either (-,-) or (-,+)

Both the cases the value is > A-B

2. It tells that (x,y) is either (-,-) or (+,+)

both the cases the value is > A-B

so D!!

1: two examples:
a=-2
b=1 -2*1<-2-1 NO

a=-5
b=4 -5*|4|<5> 5*|4|<5> -5|-4|<5> -2|-1|<-2-(-1) Yes -2<1> -2|0|<-2+0 0<-2? NO
