A car covers a certain distance in 45 mins if it runs at 60 mph and if the speed increases by two times tehn find the time taken to cover the same distance?

my guess is ..there's no need to calculate.. its just logic.. if speed doubles then time will be half

but the wording is "speed increases by two times" and not "speed doubled". Then in that case its 1/3 rd of the original time.

rate = distance/time
distance = 60 * 45 = 2,700
120 mph = 2,700/t
t= 2,700/120 = 22.5

22.5 is the answer, if speed becomes 120.
