75 * T = 1 km => T = 1/75 km/h

V*(T+2/3600) = 1

V (1/75 + 2/3600) = 1 => V = 72 km/h

If a car travels at speed of 75 kilometer per hour ,time( in hours) it takes to travel 1 kilometer = 1/75 hours = 3600 /75 seconds = 48 seconds.

It is given that it took 2 more seconds to travel than it would take at speed of 75 kph so the time it took is 48 +2 = 50 seconds

new speed = 3600 /50 kilometer per hour = 72 <--Answer B.

There is another problem like this one. It has the same fundamentals, however, worded different, which makes it look much tougher. You might want to take a look at that. It has something to do with two cars travelling towards each other and crossing at a certain point. It goes on to say that if Car A travelled so much faster, then they would cross so many miles away from the earlier crossing point.
