a certain 1 day seminar consisted of a morning session and afternoon session. if each of the 128 people attending the seminar attended atleast one of the two session,how many attended only the morning session?

1) 3/4th attended both the sessions.

2) 7/8 attended the afternoon session

if 7/8 attended the afternoon session, 1/8 must not have attended the afternoon session, and therefore must have attended the morning session only.

IMO C.

The question asks about people attending "only" the morning session.

If there are people who attended "both" sessions we will need both 1) and 2)

7/8 th attended afternoon session =only afternoon session attended + attended both sessions.
