9) Answer -> D
B - 40c / sec
A - 10c/sec
T - 2c/sec => 120c/min
Bus trip problem :
Answer - C
Working backwards,
If r = 45, t = 450/45 = 10hrs
now if new R = 45 + 5 = 50, new time = 450/50 = 9hrs
Satisfies, hence C
Stock market - well the values are missing !!
19) Answer - A
Can be deduced that:
M = 6n+1 (n is an integer > 0)
N = 6k + 3 (k is an integer > 0)
so (M + N) = 6(n +k) + 4, in other words (6L + 4) - L is an integer > 0
From the answer choices, only A violates this condition.
20) initial - y/r
new amt = y/r-x
so additional per student => y/r-x - y/r => xy/r(r-x)
