For 2 gallons, we have 3/8(2)= 3/4 gallon of white paint and 5/8(2) = 5/4 gallon of black paint
Paints are available in one gallon or half gallon cans

We need 0.75 gallons of white paint --> get a 1 gallon can
We need 1.25 gallons of black pain --> get a 1 gallon can, and a 1/2 gallon can

So total number gallons purchased = 2 1/2 (B)
