A clothing manufacturer has determined that she can sell 100 suits a week at a selling price of $200 each. For each rise of $4 inthe selling price she will sell 2 less suits a week. If she sells sthe suits for $x each,how many dollars a week will she recieve from sales of the sutis?

x^2 /2
200-x/2
50x +x^2/4
150x -x/4
200x -x^2/2

pls explain with working

x-200 is the raise in price.
So for every $4 raise 2 less are sold
hence for x-200 no of coats sold less = (x-200) * 2 / 4 = (x/2-100)
Now you will have 100 - (x/2-100) coats sold = 200-x/2 coats are sold
if price x then revenue = (200-x/2) * x = 200x-x^2/2

E is the answer.
