A gap year between BSc and MS in Management

Dear all,
today I scored 760 (Q50, V42) on the GMAT (hurray) and it got me thinking of top MSc in Management programs it is already too late to apply for (I applied for only one program I am seriously considering). The alternative as I see it is to take a gap year and apply for the 2011 intake. Here comes the big question how to effectively spend this year. The problem is that the trainee programs I have found so far are already closed or I don't meet the requirements (pretty much the same problem as with the MSc's) . Unfortunately I am not surprised by this - I tend to have strong applications and always be late with sending them in - literally had to DHL(used here as a verb) my applications for UG.
Please look below on my brief profile and give me an advice what can I do. Even if it is not in my fields of interest I would like to do something that could be probably interesting, or give me an edge and MOST importantly help me to keep my recommendations - I doubt it would look good to my professors if I am just lying around for a year. WCS I will spend the year mastering Russian and getting it certified.
Education:
BSc in Physics, GPA of 85% (projected) from a private international university in Germany
Exchange semester in a state university in USA (got a merit based scholarship)
Work and research:
19 weeks of internships in 3 different financial institutions in Bulgaria
Part of Equity Research team of the Investment Club of the university (vice-president)
Research on organic shottky diodes (for my thesis, kind of irrelevant but since I work 20hr per week on that decided to mention it)
Teaching Assistant in the Advanced Physics lab (irrelevant)
Sports adviser at the university (again irrelevant but its customer service position)
Languages:
English, Bulgarian, Russian, German (the last two basic)
Interests:
From what I've seen, heard and read so far. I want to do consulting or work in the energy industry (including energy trading). I not only find those areas interesting I truly believe I will be good in them.
Mobility:
Every place where English is sufficient and I can get the work permit (I would prefer Europe, North America, Russia or South-East Asia)
P.S. If actually I get a good job I'll probably skip the MSc and go for an MBA after 3-4 years.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Ivan
